Outdoor & Studio Spring Mini Sessions
This year, Spring minis will be held in the studio in April + outdoors in May at the Como Conservatory in St. Paul and the Lake Harriet Peace Gardens in Minneapolis. Some of the gardens last year matured late but the Lake Harriet gardens were beautiful. We try to catch the gorgeous cherry blossom tree!
The studio spring minis are done in our Minneapolis photo studio. We have beautiful spring outdoor backdrops for you to use during the session. While generally designed for little and big kids, they are large enough for family portraits, too. Our studio has free parking, a lounge area, and a dressing room.
These mini spring family sessions are 15 minutes long, perfect for family portraits, my signature children’s portraits, siblings together and at play, and any other groupings! Grandparents are welcome, but for any additional family members, please book two time slots (contact us if you need assistance finding two together).
We love dogs, and they are always welcome at the photo sessions. Dogs are part of the family! No worries, I can hold a leash (sometimes a baby, too) and still take photos for the ones without the pups.

Additional Details
Availability: Spring Mini Sessions are offered on select dates and times. Outdoor sessions are scheduled during golden hours for the best natural light, while studio sessions are perfect for families seeking an earlier time and indoor environment. Contact Lisa for a custom family session.
Session Timeline: Your private online gallery will be delivered within two weeks of your session.
Weather Policy: Outdoor sessions will proceed unless weather conditions make photography impractical. If rescheduling is required, we’ll provide alternative dates.
Extended Family: Immediate family members and grandparents are welcome. For extended family sessions, book consecutive time slots or contact us for customized options.
Pets: We love having your family dog(s) join the session. Please check with us to see if the location allows dogs. Lisa has two golden retrievers, so she is not worried about big dogs!
