Our beautiful locations offer a variety of areas to photograph at different times of the day. They were selected for the diversity of backgrounds and beautiful light for photography.
The Dodge Nature Center offers the best fall colors for photography, and the Lake Harriet Peace Gardens offer a great variety of areas to photograph and are perfect for those in Minneapolis looking for a nearby family photographer.
This fall family mini-session is perfect for updating family photos and many clients use these for their Christmas and holiday cards. Perfect for families with children of all ages. We will get a beautiful variety of images and use more than one area for the sessions. Your images will be available in a private online gallery one week after the session. Expect 20-30 images in your viewing gallery.
We'll capture portraits of the whole family, my signature portrait of each of the children, and other groupings + some fun extra photos: easy online image selection and download from a private gallery. Card and gift specials will be available from within the gallery store.
Kids do very well at these sessions. It's low-stress; they can run around as needed. I've been doing this for many years, and very rarely have kids not participate - more often, they love it!! I love working with kids and am very comfortable working with kids with special needs. Just let me know in your booking questionnaire!
Holiday Cards
Be sure to use our online holiday card ordering system (see image below)! We use the top pro lab in the US for press-printed holiday cards. Your holiday cards will be delivered fast! Choose from hundreds of card designs, upgrades like foil lettering, custom addressing, and more are available.
Fall Mini Session Photo Shoot Details
Location: Dodge Nature Center, Lake Harriet Gardens, and Longfellow Gardens.
Prep: After booking, you will receive a session confirmation with directions and the prep guide for the session.
Weather: The sessions will take place unless the weather is so bad that we cannot photograph it. If rescheduling is necessary due to weather conditions, multiple options will be offered.
Timeline: Your private online gallery will be delivered within two weeks; from there, select and download your images. Additional images, prints, gifts, and other items will be available for purchase from within your online gallery.
Holiday Cards: We offer a wide selection of press-printed cards and will send a link to the online card system along with your gallery.
Additional Images: Additional images, prints, products, and gifts will be available to purchase after the session. Package upgrades are only available before your session date.
