We will work together on the areas you need, from camera settings to running mini sessions profitably, pricing, client service, and website review. I highly recommend a website review. While you can run ads, if your SEO or web content isn’t optimized, it won’t improve your visibility with the right customers.
Photography mentoring sessions can be purchased as a single session or multiple sessions at a discounted price per session.
For the ultimate elevation of your business, skills, and confidence, choose the full-day in-person hands-on training that includes five hours of Zoom mentoring.
When doing one-on-one mentoring, we can discuss any area you want to cover. If you want a more in-depth lesson on one area, we can also arrange that. Many people do a more comprehensive review of pricing or mini-sessions.

How Booking Works
After purchasing, you’ll receive an email with a link to schedule your session(s). You’re welcome to book them all at once or spread them out as needed.
If you’ve purchased a multi-session package, you can book just the first session to start—we’ll discuss the timing of your follow-ups during our first call.

In this portfolio-building session, Lisa will pose and light each setup with the newborn baby, and you will be able to photograph each each setup with direct feedback on your angles, exposure, etc. This is a great way to see first hand how to light each pose and review angles of shooting in detail which is such an important factor in the final image and something many struggle with!

You may use all photos taken in your portfolio and marketing materials.
Open to all levels. This class is intended to improve your mastery and confidence in lighting and shooting at the correct angle. You will also see how posers are placed, how to create multiple unique images from each setup.
Gear requirements: A professional camera with manual mode and a Profoto trigger (you can rent one). If you rent a trigger, please bring your camera and ask the camera shop to check your camera settings so it will work.
After Purchasing: You will receive a questionnaire so that I can understand your experience level and areas you’re most interested in improving. You will also receive a link to schedule your private Zoom call.
Experience Requirements: While Lisa can advise on camera and lighting settings, you must know how to operate your camera, set white balance manually (not AWB), and shoot in manual mode. Please see my videos and courses on camera operations or schedule private mentoring sessions.

Class Ratio: 1:6 This class is limited to 6 people. We will have three newborns, so if one is fussy, we will be able to switch babies.

Improve SEO & Content
In this website review, we will meet for 60-minutes via Zoom. I will do a full site review in preparation for the first meeting. Areas included are content, design, images (quality, size), SEO basics, and more. We’ll review exactly which steps to take to improve your website and online portfolio and how to improve SEO.

In this portfolio-building session, Lisa will pose and light each setup with the Maternity models, and you will be able to photograph each one. It isn’t necessary to have a huge wardrobe to create stunning maternity images. We’ll use gowns and draped silks.
This class is intended to improve your mastery and confidence in posing, lighting, and shooting at the correct angle.
Gear requirements: A professional camera with manual mode and a Profoto trigger (you can rent one). If you rent a trigger, please bring your camera and ask the camera shop to check your camera settings so it will work.

All areas are open for instruction: posing, lighting, camera operation, editing, marketing, wrapping, and more. The in-person portion will be posing, lighting, and shooting.
Gear requirements: A professional camera with manual mode. We will use your lights and mine, if you want to use mine it requires a Profoto trigger (you can rent one). If you rent a trigger, please bring your camera and ask the camera shop to check your camera settings so it will work.
Experience Requirements: If you do not know how to operate your camera, set the white balance manually (not AWB), and shoot in manual mode, please let us know so we can use some mentoring time to cover those areas before the in-person shooting day.

Lisa will train three newborn photographers. Whether you’re just learning or want to improve your skills, this is a great way to get practical, hands-on experience at a better price than one-on-one. This is hands-on; you will pose the babies with Lisa’s guidance. The images you take can be used on your website and social media.

Mentoring

Does not include in-person training.
