Our annual Tree Farm Mini Sessions are a highlight of the holiday season! Each year, we photograph in a different area of the farm, giving families fresh and beautiful backdrops for their holiday photos. It’s a wonderful way to capture the magic of the season and create cherished family memories.
Avoid the crowded tree farm locations; Krueger limits the number of photographers, and we each have a wide area to use for our sessions.
Perfect for families and couples, plus grandparents are always welcome to join the session. For extended families beyond grandparents, please add a second session or contact us to request extra people.
NOTE: If the forecast is for good cloud coverage, I will add more midday and morning times. Booked clients will have the first chance at those, and then they will open up to the public.

🐾 Dogs Welcome! Your furry family members are invited to join the family photos. Please arrive a bit early so they can acclimate and burn off some energy—this works for kids, too! There's plenty of room for everyone to explore and enjoy.
☔️ Weather: Our sessions will proceed unless the weather is extreme. A little frost or snow can make for magical photos, but falling snow or rain will damage the camera.
Where to Meet: Upon arrival, please text Lisa with your family name to let her know you have arrived. Park in the second lot, there are signs directing where to park. What to Expect:
Prep: Your booking confirmation includes a detailed prep guide to help you get ready for the session. Feel free to reach out with any questions in advance—we’re here to help!
Holiday Cards: We offer a beautiful selection of custom-printed holiday cards. Once your gallery is delivered, you’ll receive a link to our online store for easy ordering.
Gallery Delivery: Your private, online gallery will be ready within two weeks of your session. The number of images in your package can be downloaded directly from the gallery, with options to purchase additional images, prints, or gifts.
👨👩👧👦 Extended Family: If you'd like to include extended family (except grandparents are always welcome), please book back-to-back sessions to ensure we have enough time to capture everyone.
🎄 Dress for the Occasion: It may be cold so be sure to bring hats and mittens! If you're wearing dressier outfits, please bring a big blanket to wrap little ones in to warm them up as needed. Hand warmers work well too, tuck them into shoes!

HOLIDAY GIFTS AND CARDS
Along with your private gallery link with the gallery from your tree farm session, you’ll receive a link to create custom press-printed cards with hundreds of designs to choose from. In your online viewing gallery take advantage of special savings for tree farm session clients. We will be offering the always favorite mini books with holiday fabrics and designs, image folios, image blocks, prints, and more.

We have a generous cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend the session, it may be rescheduled, based on availability, or kept as a credit to use towards any other session.

The only time we cancel a mini session is if it’s actively raining or the temperature is dangerously cold. In either case, we keep an eye on the weather and will offer several rescheduling options.

Yes! We love having the family dogs at sessions. Please check with us to ensure they’re allowed, but most of the locations we use permit dogs.
TIP: Arrive early and let your dog get familiar and sniff around well before the session. Also, tire your dog out before the session!

Usually, children do pretty well at these sessions because they’re low-stress, and I love working with kids and making them feel welcome.
Please follow the advice of no pressure on children. Don’t ask them to smile or continually repeat directions that I give. Trust the process! I may ask parents to step out of eyesight briefly. There are lots of tricks!
Even with fussy children, I can almost always still get some great photos.

We do not provide raw files or unedited images. The gallery will be culled down to 25-35 images. All will be retouched. You can select and download the quantity included in your package, and there is an option to purchase additional photos.
