Baby Milestone Photography

Our baby milestone photo sessions are among our most cherished offerings, perfect for documenting your baby’s key developmental stages. These sessions are ideal for babies aged 3 months to 24 months, capturing moments from tummy time to crawling, and those first steps.

Each session is styled with simplicity and elegance, ensuring the photographs remain timeless for generations to come. Whether it’s the 7-month sitter session or the joyful first birthday celebration, these photos will be a treasured part of your family’s history.

During your baby milestone session, we offer a curated selection of outfits and props from our collection, ensuring your little one looks their best. We typically use beautiful wooden props and select 1-2 backdrop colors to complement your baby’s features.

Baby Photo Session Options

We have a few options for your baby’s milestone sessions. Some families want to do full-length sessions with multiple outfits and backdrop setups; some want just a quick session to capture that milestone. For birthdays, we also offer a cake smash session!

Studio Session at Our Minneapolis Photo Studio:

Choose from our curated collection of outfits, props, and fabrics to personalize your session.

Fine Retouching of Purchased Images with Print Release:
Each purchased image is professionally retouched and includes a print release, giving you the flexibility to print and share your photos.

A Private Online Gallery:
After the session, you’ll receive access to a private online gallery where you can select and purchase images, as well as the finest albums, wall art, prints, and more.

Access to Online Press Printed Card Creation:
Create beautiful baby announcements and birthday cards using our online press printed card creation service.

Our Process

  • The initial consultation is a quick call/Zoom and a nice way to meet when choosing a photographer.

    We’ll review our process and pricing, as well as dates for your session.

    The consultation is the best way for Lisa to share all the session details and to understand your needs and goals from the photo session.

  • After the consultation, we will send you a proposal to walk you through an easy online booking process.

    After booking, you will receive a brief questionnaire, a session prep guide, and a link to your online portal to access invoices, emails, and prep guides.

    Depending on the session, we will also schedule a pre-session design call.

  • All sessions may have a pre-session call to plan your session, and Lisa can advise on wardrobe. Many don’t require this meeting but it is always available.

  • I highly recommend that Mom has hair and makeup done for the session. Whether you go on your own or bring your stylist into the studio. For newborn sessions, Mom can be pampered and prep for family photos while we photograph the baby.

  • The day of the photo session should be fun and stress-free! Leading up you will have been given everything you need to prepare. Newborn sessions are baby-led so we take breaks as needed.

  • Within 10 days of your session your proofing gallery will be ready. Choose to have a gallery review and ordering session with Lisa via Zoom or view & select your images in an online private gallery.

  • Digital images will be retouched and available to download within two weeks of ordering. Any products ordered will be delivered to your home. Your private online gallery is available long term so you can download and share anytime!
