Welcome, and thank you for visiting! My lifelong passion for photography has led me from Minneapolis to New York City and around the globe as a documentary photographer and educator.
As a single mother to wonderful twin daughters, I understand the significance of capturing every stage of childhood. My family, including our two beloved golden retrievers, Sunny and Coop, bring so much joy to my life, and I cherish the images from each stage of their lives.
I’m honored to have photographed thousands of families, babies, and children and to be recognized as an award-winning photographer whose work is published internationally. In addition to my photography, I’m dedicated to mentoring and educating other photographers, sharing the craft that continues to inspire me.

FAQs
When should I book newborn photos?
It’s best, but not required, to book your photo session several months in advance. We recommend that newborn photos be taken at 7-14 days old but photograph many babies at 4-12 weeks depending on many factors we will discuss. Booking ahead guarantees you a timely session even if your baby arrives early or late! Lisa does a limited number of newborn sessions just for this reason.
How much does a photo session cost?
The minimum investment in a newborn session is $1500; many clients create albums and artwork for their homes. Please schedule a complimentary consultation for detailed pricing information.
Some mini-sessions and specials are offered throughout the year - seasonal minis like Christmas, fall colors, and Valentine’s Day, plus some baby milestones and mommy and me mini sessions.
How do I book?
We’re committed to offering a seamless and transparent experience for our clients. Some sessions, like headshots and mini-sessions, can be booked online.
