As a family photographer based in Minneapolis and St. Paul, I've had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful families over the years. There's nothing quite like capturing the special bond between family members through beautiful and timeless photography.
At Lisa Poseley Photography, we specialize in both mini sessions and full length sessions that include a beautiful heirloom custom album. Our mini sessions are done at pre-set locations, while our full sessions allow us to work together to select a location that has a lot of variety. We have several locations that we recommend for full family photo sessions, but we're always open to exploring new spots and finding the perfect backdrop for your family's portraits.
Our mini family special session is perfect for families with very young children. We understand that little ones can have short attention spans, which is why we've designed these sessions to be short and sweet. During the session, we'll create beautiful photos of the entire family and individual portraits of the children and other combinations. We love capturing the personalities of each family member, and we'll work with you to make sure that everyone feels comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.
Prior to your session, we'll send out a prep guide so you have all of the information that you need before the session. We'll also advise on wardrobe and have a consultation to discuss any special requests or ideas that you may have.
While our mini sessions are great for capturing some quick family portraits, our full family sessions are where we really get to dive in and create some beautiful, lifestyle imagery. With more time and location variety, we'll work together to capture the special moments and memories that make your family unique.
We understand that it can be daunting to plan a family photo session, especially if you have young children. But rest assured, our locations have plenty of room for kids to run around, and we find that they actually enjoy the process. We love capturing candid moments of kids being kids, and we work hard to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere that everyone will enjoy.
